very idea is sharp and amazing, and it needs time to sink in, we need to starts with a blank sheet of paper and pen. Take that idea and start brain storming with the best strategists in the country and a team that can execute it. What would be missing, “A cup of tea”. Each sip you take represents the idea in a different way, when you’ve finished it, you’ll have taken it to the max. That’s the origin of our name, A Cup of Tea – it’s a metaphor for taking each idea as far as it can go.
This is something we’ve been doing since we began Ten years ago (not necessarily with paper mind you). Our first brief was to create a brand we now recognize as AVIS India. Back then it was a Mercury Car Rentals in Gurgaon. But when CEO Mr. Arya wanted to create a brand people could relate to, he hired A Cup of Tea founded by Gikson George. The result was the creation and philosophy of AVIS India. Ironically the brand didn’t pride itself on advertising, so our story starts with brand creation.
